Terms & Conditions

Between the property owner and the group leader.

1. PURPOSE

These General Terms and Conditions govern the booking of accommodations on behalf of property owners via the website www.whitemountains.fr. WHITE MOUNTAINS CONCIERGERIE does not act as a real estate agent and does not offer the listed properties for rent. The seasonal rental agreement is concluded directly between the Owner and the Guest. WHITE MOUNTAINS CONCIERGERIE acts solely as a service provider.

2. NATURE OF SERVICE

The concierge service acts as a provider, managing the property, welcoming guests, and offering ancillary services. The rental agreement is entered into between the Guest and the Owner.

3. BOOKING

A booking is confirmed once the General Terms have been accepted, payment validated, and a confirmation email received. Booking implies full acceptance of these conditions.

4. INCLUDED SERVICES

Included in the price: End-of-stay cleaning Laundry service (bed linen, bath towels, kitchen cloths) Water, electricity, and heating consumption Any additional service must be paid for on-site.

5. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. onwards. Check-out must be completed by 10:00 a.m. at the latest. Except in exceptional cases, a WHITE MOUNTAINS staff member will welcome you at the property, hand over the keys, and provide a brief tour.

6. PRICING & PAYMENT

Prices are in euros. Full payment must be made as follows: For bookings made more than eight (8) weeks before the stay, a deposit of 25% of the rental amount is required upon booking confirmation. The balance is due eight (8) weeks before arrival. A payment link will be sent by email, and the group leader has seven (7) days to pay the balance. Beyond this period, the reservation will be canceled, and no refund of the deposit will be issued. For bookings made less than eight (8) weeks before the stay, full payment is required at the time of booking. Included services are specified in the listing.

7. TOURIST TAX

The tourist tax, payable to the local municipality, is included in the booking price.

8. SECURITY DEPOSIT

A bank pre-authorization equivalent to 20% of the rental amount is required upon arrival. No amount is charged by default. In the event of damage, deterioration, or non-compliance with rules, part or all of this sum may be withheld following inspection. If a pre-authorization cannot be provided for reasons not attributable to WHITE MOUNTAINS CONCIERGERIE, access to the property will be suspended until the pre-authorization is secured. WHITE MOUNTAINS CONCIERGERIE assumes no liability in this case.

9. CANCELLATION & MODIFICATION

If the booking is canceled by the group leader: More than eight (8) weeks before arrival: the deposit is non-refundable. Within eight (8) weeks of arrival: all sums paid are non-refundable. If WHITE MOUNTAINS CONCIERGERIE manages to rebook the property for the same dates, a refund will be issued, excluding the 25% deposit. In the event of a cancellation initiated by WHITE MOUNTAINS CONCIERGERIE, an alternative property will be offered. If the group leader accepts, the full amount paid for the original booking will be refunded, and a new reservation will be made under the same conditions. If no alternative is available or if the guest declines, the total amount paid will be refunded with no further compensation.

10. GUEST OBLIGATIONS

The Guest agrees to: Respect the maximum occupancy of the property. Failure to do so may result in immediate cancellation during the stay. Maintain the property in good and reasonably clean condition. A portion of the deposit may be withheld if necessary. Bed linen, towels, and kitchen cloths must be gathered and placed in a shower or bathtub at departure. Not host parties or events without prior authorization. Respect neighbors and the peaceful nature of the premises. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property; only outdoor areas are permitted. Any residual odor will result in a deduction from the deposit. Subletting is strictly prohibited. Allow WHITE MOUNTAINS CONCIERGERIE to access the property at reasonable times for maintenance or repairs.

11. LIABILITY

The concierge service is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, inability to use the property due to external causes, or service interruptions beyond its control.

12. DATA PROTECTION

Personal data collected is used solely for the purpose of booking and stay management, in accordance with the GDPR. Guests may request access, modification, or deletion of their data at any time.

13. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before taking legal action.

14. ACCEPTANCE

By booking a property via our website, the Guest acknowledges having read and accepted these General Terms and Conditions.
